Youth Upcycled Sculpture workshop engaged primary school aged youth in a half day workshop preparing waste materials, and designing and building a series of installations in a local community garden. It was run as multiple  a group projects in competition with one another, and there were prizes given out to the winners.

Basic skills for using power tools and hand tools were integrated into the workshop, as were teamworking and communication skills.
