Systems Lab is one of three themed labs within the final year of Master of Landscape Architecture at RMIT. It invites students completing their year-long capstone design research thesis to develop a practice, through their project, concerned with global systems and the role that Landscape Architects can take in shaping them. 

Each student's project is independently driven and unique, with the Systems Lab offering a framework for the research they undertake through design. Two studio sessions per week, over the course of a year provide a rhythm of contact and and dialogue amongst students and teaching staff. The projects that result argue for a more systemically engaged future of Landscape Architectural practice.
