Cut, Slip, Pry invited students to co-create a large cross-section depicting 180km of land between Melbourne and Latrobe Valley.

The drawing functions as a device for conducting critical research into the spatial operations of urbanism-as-territory.

Students are given license to manipulate the conventions and structure of the cross-section to enable a targeted exploration of key moments, protagonists, processes, and multi-scalar relationships relevant to their individual inquiry.

The process is documented and analysed through the format of a Lab Report.
